A 4 pack of Tuna Costs more than 4 single cans – Only in Israel

Just saw this posted on an email list from Ramat Bet Shemesh
The 4-pack of tuna at Shefa Shuk in RBS is more expensive than buying 4
individuals.
Answer from the head cashier: “Kacha Zeh!”.

Thank you Ephrayim for pointing this out. This is one reason why Costco could never succeed in Israel because they charge you for the conveinence. I remember years ago that someone told me that buying in bulk is more expensive in Israel, but I found it hard to believe. If anyone has any other similar examples please send them in to me to post.
